Brothers club together to buy apartment

First time buyer, Bobby, moves in to a new apartment at VIZION7, thanks to a helping hand from his brother, Tariq

University graduate Bobby Sardar from Manchester had been searching for nearly two years to find the perfect London home. Now, thanks to a helping hand from his older brother, Tariq, he has just moved into a stunning new apartment at VIZION7, a residential development by joint venture partners, Taylor Woodrow and George Wimpey, in conjunction with Arsenal Football Club.

Following a growing trend for family members to help struggling first time buyers secure their first homes, Tariq has funded a mortgage on Bobby's behalf, the ideal solution to his brother's housing dilemma and a great investment opportunity for him. Bobby explains:

"I had been looking for almost two years for an apartment that was going to offer me all I wanted in terms of space, style, location and affordability and it was proving difficult. I have very high standards but as a recent graduate with no real deposit, it was a pretty fruitless exercise. I was, however, determined not to throw money away by simply renting. I wanted to feel I was building a future for myself, not paying someone else's mortgage."

Finally, Bobby, who is in his 20s, found his dream home; VIZION7 located in the borough of Islington, where he set his sights on a two-bedroom apartment with a large roof terrace:

"The apartment layouts are fantastic and the location is absolutely perfect," enthused Bobby about the VIZION7 scheme. "The tube station is very close at hand, everything I could want is on the doorstep and it has lots of upmarket features like a gym and a concierge. I also felt the price, per square foot, was better value than any I'd previously seen in this area."
